The National Youth Policy Roundtable discussion

Integrity South Sudan in partnership with BANAT Power Initiative, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), FACE, CEPO, and CIG&J and with funding from the European Union organized a one (1) full day policy roundtable discussion at the University of Juba (UniPod room) on the South Sudan National Youth Development Policy (SSNYDP) 2025 as part of the activities of the raising civil voices project. The session brought together 30 diverse stakeholders (19 male &11 female), including Youth, Members of Parliament and the Minister of Youth for Central Equatoria State, CSOs, youth, University students and person with disability. The policy roundtable was conducted to strengthen youth understanding, ownership, and participation in the implementation of the South Sudan National Youth Development Policy (2025). The policy provides a holistic framework for youth empowerment, recognizing youth (15–35 years) as the largest demographic group and a critical driver of national development. The session aimed to bridge the gap between policy formulation and practical implementation, ensuring that youth actors and stakeholders move “from paper to progress.”
